Kids and pets

So this is our dog BO the kids call him "Bo boy"

we got Bo cause Art wanted a dog so 5 years ago we got Bo as a pup. Well Bo doesn't get out as much as Art thinks he should. So Art decided the other day we would make a flyer and try and find him a good home. I was putting the pictures on the computer and typing up a flyer when Tuff asked what i was doing. Well being as Tuff can read he found out pretty quick what i was doing and he had a come apart. Mom you cant give Bo away hes our buddy. Well on Sunday Tuff went to his dad and told him not to give away Bo. Art told Tuff that he would go to a good home and that he would be happy. Well Tuff didn't believe that was a good idea so he said but i like Bo the most out of all our animals. Ashley joined in and told her dad that she wanted to keep Bo. Art asked them if they would feed him? They both said yes! He then asked them if they would walk and play with him? Again Yes! Then Art thought he would get them and said ok but you have to clean up all the poop cause he stinks and give him a bath. They both said ok dad. Of course we both thought ya right. Well we started to clean up dinner (we ate on the patio) and Tuff went in the house. When he came out he was holding his piggy bank.

He handed it to his dad and said I want to buy Bo Boy so we can keep him. Of course in my hormonal state I began to cry it was so tender and heart breaking. Tuff was so set on keeping that dog that he wanted to buy it from his dad to keep him. Well Art said ok thinking yeah right but Tuff handed over the bank and ran out to the shed. When we got out to the back yard Tuff had a shovel and was trying to open the gate to the pen. We both laughed. When i asked him what he was doing he said cleaning out Bo's pen. it was even more tender. So Art told Tuff he would help him but they needed to move the pen and would do it this week. Tuff looked at his dad and said you mean move it in our yard not some where else? You could tell he wanted to make sure that dog didn't leave OUR yard. It was on of those times that your heart just melts cause of the love Tuff and Ashley have for that dog. I should note Ashley was ok if we gave Bo away but only if it was to a good home and we could go visit whenever we wanted. So i guess we are keeping the dog.
