So as you can see we haven't posted in a while. We are slackers!!! We will try and update all the fun things we've done in the past 5 months.....but don't hold your breath..LOL

Hunting 2010

I painted up this old life guard stand that I got and used it for my redneck hunting stand. Everyone thought I was pretty funny (stupid).


We had a good Hunt Grandma and Grandpa Thompson came down and watched the kids so Crystal and I could spend 5 days doing nothing but hunting. We had a ton of fun. It is the only time I don't mind getting up at 5 and going to bed at midnight. Crystal got a 3x3 opening night. We were sitting on the edge of a field and just waiting for anything to come out. Up to that point no one in our group had seen a thing. We usually take at least one deer on opening day. So as we sat and watched Crystal bumped me and said some deer just came in the field above us. I spotted them and put the scope on them. One was a little 4x4and the 3x3. We debated on weather to shoot or not for about 25 minutes. It was starting to get dark and so Crystal said sure Ill shoot one. She got ready and i told her to wait on the 3x3 it was facing right at us. I then told her to hold on and for the next 10 min went back and forth on which one to shoot. I honestly didn't think she would hit one so I said the 3x3 looks wider take him. Well she shoot and boom down went the deer dead in his tracks. It was 300 yard shot right on the money.


We had 7 people hunting with us this year and did pretty well in the buck area. We got 5 bucks but when it came to the Cow Elk we didn't do to well. Only 1 out of the 7 was able to take a cow. We had tons of fun. Cant wait till next year!

Soccer

So since Tuff didn't have football he played soccer. Ashley loves soccer to bad we don't have a high school team. Here are some pictures of them.

Football

So this year Tuff was so excited to play football in the 2nd grade. Well they decided not to have 2&3 grade football so I was asked to help again with the 4&5 grade team I had a blast last year we went 4-1 and lost our only game by 1 point. This years team was undersized and in some cases by 30 or 40 pounds. But they had so much heart and desire they were great. We scored 151 total points in the year and only gave up a total of 14 points the whole year. I was amazed at how the kids each week going up against kids twice as big would do whatever you told them. Here are a few pictures from our last game. We went 9-0 on the season. Our closest game was an Overtime game we won 6-0. Tuff did get to be on the team as water boy. He even got a t-shirt at the end of the year as well as Ashley for helping with the little kids.

Twin Day

So awhile back the school had a twin / look-a-like day. Well Ashley and her cousin Ellie dressed the same thanks to Aunt Anna. She also got Ky Ky the same.




Tuff and his Friend Paxton went the same and Tuff made sure he had spiked hair like paxton. They are the same age but look worlds apart in size.

Decorating the Tree

Yes we put up our trees before Thanksgiving so sue me...haha. We have a Denver Broncos tree in the family room (man cave)


One in the living room which we put on the kids decorations and ones that are given to us. The girls also have a little one in the room and decorated it all themselves with hand made ornaments. Here are a few Pictures. Enjoy and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Pumpkin Carving

Here are a few pictures from our carving. The kids did all the carving this year except Ky Ky. Her mom helped her out. I stayed out of it cause I usually take over and do all of them to make sure they are right. I decided my right and right are two different things so I let them do it all. I think they did a great job and had alot of fun. Tuff did a Y of course..

Ashley did an MHS pumpkin she had some troubles cause she wanted to carve so much. Grandma gave some advice and helped her alittle and it turned out good.

Kyleigh wanted to a cartoon character which I have no clue how to spell. It was pretty hard and so I was glad Crystal was doing it.lol
