We decided to put up some pictures of the new goats and also some other animals that make up our little family. We started out with a Border collie/Mcnabb cross pup over 4 years ago and have tried to get a little variety to help the kids understand how to take care of things and to love animals. We currently have 2 chickens.
Then we have the Goats they are the most fun and most like family. We can spend hours and hours watching, holding, and playing with them. We have had two mother goats for over a year. The Black one is named Sally (Tuffs cars phase), then the white one is named Cheese. Its because she always has her teeth showing like she is getting ready for a picture and saying cheese. She had her Baby "Mani" who we posted about earlier. We also have Sugar the Brown and white baby and our man of the pen Black Night the littel balck and white one. We decided dad would pick out the keeper goats and the kids would name them. We hope to have more babies this fall or early next spring. It has been alot of fun. 
We started of with 10 and soon discovered that 7 off them were rosters and didn't lay very good eggs. We got them from IFA and they were pick your luck obviously we didn't get to lucky with only 3 chickens. Well we gave all of the roosters away and one chicken died. so we are down to two Art wants to get more but none of the rest of us like to eat the eggs so two is enough for him. Next we have our 4-H lambs this year we have two since Tuff is old enough to raise on this year. They named them Dusty (Ashley's) and Bolt (Tuff's). Dusty has on the Blue halter and Bolt has the Black halter. 
We also have two cats and soon many more as the mother cat is about to expload. Thats Ky chasing her around the corral.
