Christmas 2009

Christmas is the funniest time of the year. We love decorating the inside of the house and hate that we have to take it down so fast. This years Christmas was alot of fun Kyleigh is almost 3 (Jun) and she really got into things this year. She is a cutie and a stinker all rolled into one. Tuff and Ashley love the holidays and will watch Christmas movies every day if you let them. Ashley is in the 4th grade (the grade Art was in when he found out) and still believes in the magic. Tuff is just a little lover he has a tender heart and was heart broken when he found out that the Santa at walmart might not be the real Santa just a helper. Well we started off our Christmas eve by the kids reading the Night Before Christmas then opening our new PJ's we then went and had snacks and watched the Grinch (cartoon). Then it was off to bed and the kids all wanted to sleep together. Ky ended up on the bottom bunk and they actually slept through the night. It was quarter till 8 when we heard them stirring (our kids have never been up early for Christmas this was the first year we didn't have to wake them up) we heard someone jump out of bed and run into the front room. Santa usually comes up stairs but this year we had requested him to come down stairs in the family room. Well we wondered if the kids would catch on since we didn't tell them this. We kind of thought they would think Santa forgot them. So I rolled over and asked Art do you think they will come down stairs? Just as I asked Tuff came down the stairs (we could tell by the way he stomps down lol) Art said he will come in the room and be sad but not Tuff he snuffed out the plan and went in the family room then through open the door and yelled "Dad Santa came and left presents in the family room" It was so cute. Art asked where the girls were Tuff said still in bed so we sent him up to wake them. After we got them all up and ready we started up stairs with family gifts then went down stairs and opened presents. It was alot of fun and we had a great Christmas not one fight. Cameron didn't get to into it being 3 weeks old an all. Hope you like some of the pictures we took. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas....Look forward to a great new year....
