Tuff Wrestling

Tuffer decided he wanted to do the Rowdy Boys this year so he has been going to practice and learning lots. He has learned enough that he can beat Ashley now so she doesn't want to wrestle him all the time now that she cant just beat him every time. He started out going to one practice then his first tourney. It was in Monticello and he did good even though he lost both matches. He was fun to watch as he would let the other kid take him down then get away from him and let him do it again. We decided we needed to go over the points again with him so he understood you cant let them get more than you. He did well but after that just wanted to go to practice. I think he was sad cause he lost and didn't want his dad to be mad at him. Art told him he didn't care if he won as long as he had fun. (yeah right DAD) lol... So we finally convinced him to go to another tourney after he had learned some more and was getting better. He went with Grandpa Adair to Blanding and wrestled two times beating both kids. YEAH Tuffer!! Art was gone for work and I was home with the other kids. Yes we didn't send a video camera and Art wasn't happy about that. Art and Tuff then went to Cortez and Tuff beat two new kids he had never wrestled pinning the first kid and winning 7-3 in the second match. He was so glad to get a first place medal and Championship Bracket. We probably wont go to anymore this year but think he did great for his first year going 4-2. Here are some pics...
